When most buyers go into home search mode - they may end up with 50+ listings to view. Naturally, that's too many houses to look at if you're limited on time! We will help you to narrow your search down to a couple dozen properties, keeping these tips in mind:

• Before coming into town, put your needs into one list. Then write your wants in another. When a house doesn't even meet your needs, it's one less house to look at.
• Know your budget. If you are getting a mortgage, secure your pre-approved amount beforehand so we can eliminate homes beyond your budget.
• Think about drive time to your job or other activities. Traffic around Eastern CT could be different than what you're used to, so let us know how long a commute you're willing to undertake.

Before we meet in person, we could send you our picks for possible homes or, if you've got a list of properties in mind, let us know what you've found. While virtual tours and photos are helpful, there's nothing like seeing homes in person. We can schedule any necessary appointments with other Realtors or homeowners and map a route.
